Ellen DeGeneres Launches Her Own Record Label!

Ellen DeGeneres has launched her own record label and naturally the first artist she signed is YouTube sensation, Greyson Chance.

Greyson Chance uploaded a video of him performing Lady Gaga’s hit song, “Paparazzi” during a 6th grade talent show a few weeks ago. Shortly after he uploaded the video to YouTube, Ellen saw the video and flew Greyson to Los Angeles and he made his TV debut on her talk show earlier this month and he’ll return on Wednesday to help DeGeneres launch her latest project, eleveneleven Records. He will be performing a song he wrote called Broken Hearts, which will also be his first single.

Ellen DeGeneres says, “Greyson inspired me to start a record label called eleveneleven. He is my first artist and we are making a record together.” The youngster has some impressive names behind him – Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary and Lady Gaga’s Svengali Troy Carter will co-represent Chance.

Greyson is pretty excited by all of this success. He says, “It’s crazy thinking about 30 million people (checking it out). It just makes me happy. It really just hasn’t sunken in yet… It’s awesome.”
